The Hitting Knob is the most revolutionary hitting aid on the market today. It was designed by a long-time baseball player and coach with the use of physics and good old-fashioned experience.

We spent hundreds of hours designing and working out production. The first few prototypes were cobbled together from pipe fittings, rubber couplings, and bandsawed barbell ends – but were functional enough to test the theory. Soon we enlisted the help of a product designer and mechanical engineer to design, machine, and weld steel prototypes which were sent out to several Major league players for their feedback.

We continued to prototype and test several versions of the Hitting Knob, ranging from slip-on “swing weights” sized to fit a particular bat to universal designs which utilize a “clicking” mechanism for the ultimate rigid attachment regardless of knob size and style. The “clicking mechanism was the winner – this allows the Hitting KnobTM to fit all the baseball and softball bats on the market, while still being easy and intuitive to put on and take off.

We’ve tested weights ranging from 8 oz all the way up to 60 oz – finding the greatest muscle memory ‘bang’ and swing speed increase in the 8 – 30 oz range depending on the age and strength level of the individual using it.
